Style Idol - Audrey Hepburn in How to Steal a Million

As much as I love Sabrina and Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the iconic little black dresses featured in both, my favorite outfits worn by Audrey Hepburn onscreen are definitely in How to Steal a Million. This movie is one of my all-time favorites -- an art forgery crime caper with gorgeous clothes and gorgeous stars -- and it also happens to be the film that got me hooked on classic movies! Basically, I want everything Audrey Hepburn has in this film ... the white hat, the sunglasses, that lace mask, Peter O'Toole ....

Oh my god! That black lace mask is AMAZING! She looks so chic in that picture it almost makes me want to take up smoking (kidding) - but it is a stunning outfit.

UGH. This film is sooo perfect!

I completely agree with it being THE best Audrey style film. So amazing.

Hmmmm, well, I guess I can let you have the white hat and the sunglasses (EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE BOTH SO AWESOME). But, I'm taking the lace mask and Peter O'Toole.

Sorry.

;-D

Awesome post! I really want to a post like this!

She's so stunning! My PFF dress this Friday was going to be one that reminded me of her.

Yesss. To me this is really the quintessential Audrey style film. Two for the Road has some fun fashion too, but How to Steal a Million is really my favorite. Everything, right down to hair and make-up, is so fun and exciting. The first time I watched it I kept getting distracted by all the great style, but it's easily at the top of my list of Audrey films.

And yeah. Peter O'Toole is a doll.

P.S. you have the most adorable blog! I don't think I've ever stopped by, though I do know Silents & Talkies - completely amazing.
